i really don't know much about accessibility (still learning how to fuckin make a site here). but one group i keep hearing being a herald for such is gov.uk

they're so serious about this shit that any public affiliates are required to undergo changes in accordance to gov.uk standard. idk if i would fuckin do this for gov funding but again, europe has always been strict about certain things like gdpr (fuck that shit).

but this link here takes me & you to their entire standard and i got to admit, if any documentation was this easy to navigate, i wouldn't mind conforming.

styles, web components, patterns, and all sorts of shit to onboard is not only useful for being part of the uk online fed group, but also for accessibility in general.

like example, i didn't realize a back indicator (to take you back to the previous page) would be useful. and even more, there are details on why, when, and where to put a back indicator. like omg, i feel like i'll use this over any other accessibility guide unless they have reasons and details i can relate to more.

if you're into creating sites and getting abused by the accessibility naggers (ok, they have a good reason to), i present to you a holy grail to guide you on the journey.
